Although this song was made famous by Rod Stewart and The Stereophonics, the first recording was released in 1967 by Chris Farlowe. The song was actually written by Mike D’Abo, the lead singer of the band Manfred Mann. Our version was recorded on 19th February 2024, as usual, in John’s nook.
